| Loyola MD- $28k. I think the full cost is $72k. |
|
USC $40K/yr |
|
Marquette $34000
We qualified for zero $ aid. Merit for average child- $27000 Full price with fees about $62000 I think the Catholic schools market themselves around the full state flagship school price (not Wisconsin- out of state) because they all came in with substantial merit money. It was a relief frankly. |

UVA next year for my third-year: $16,500 plus another $1,000 or so for books.
Achieved with the pre-paid tuition plan (which is no longer offered, although I think a different version of it was). When DD learned her InVest account was spent, she applied to be an RA, which makes her room and board free. She did this to avoid taking on debt and because her brother is entering college this year too. |
Correct, my DC received a 20K/year merit scholarship. |
Is this a troll? What the heck was she going to do if she didn’t get picked to be an RA? What is wrong with you? |
|
VT is $29K all in for 12 mos off campus
JMU cost me $24K all in for 12 mos off campus a couple of years ago |
| Radford University $25k (after small merit scholarship). |
Same for UMW. I thought this thread was asking for the actual full cost of attendance, not the price each individual is paying after their aid is applied. So I responded earlier with the full cost. |
WTF is your problem? NP but this is an overly aggressive post. The student and family would have had to figure this out, but your reaction to this student literally working to avoid taking on debt is over the top. Being an RA is a great option, had the student not gotten the job they would have done some combination of work, parent support and/or loans. |
and posters above have asked "Please identify the total cost of attendance, including room and board" . Not providing the "all-in" fee is not helpful. |
+1. please |
USC is $91K a year. Please provide total costs. |
How is quoting the full cost at all interesting? Anyone can look up the full list price. What's interesting is what people *actually* pay. |
| Yeah, I'm more interested in hearing what other families are paying - I can look up COA published on school websites but it's nice to know about the good deals out there. Also, congrats to all of the hardworking kids! |
