The spring and fall are breathtaking.

Agree. Christopher Newport also falls in this category for me.

I thought Radford’s campus was very nice when my daughter did a program there a couple years ago.

Longwood has a pretty campus, as well, based on what I have seen of it

Do I think they are the most beautiful? Probably not, but they are attractive campuses that get very little love

W&L has a very nice campus.

VMI. If you like a prison motif.

It is so nice. Have you traveled all the way to the lake? The wellness center? Tons of history of course, and well maintained grounds. Old growth trees. There is a relatively recent memorial/monument to the enslaved people who helped create/maintain the school (which was founded in thr 1600’’s). It is very well done. We are quite impressed overall.

I would guess that many people don’t even realize that Lake Matoaka is part of the campus.

Virginia Tech for sure!

I do remember liking the Richmond campus too. It has a small lake in the middle which felt really romantic.

JMU might have good views, but the Interstate down the middle of campus is hard to unsee.

Except that you don't see it when you're on campus. The only people who ever mention it are those who haven't bothered to walk around campus. It's a non-issue.

Virginia Tech, JMU, Mary Washington, and Christopher Newport are my favorites.

You didn't expect Virginia Military Institute to have little pink houses, did you? I like that campus.
