Going in the Pool

Have never done either of those. If you are in a pool, there is a bathroom nearby. You are foul.

I surely hope you have never gone in a pool. Or the ocean. There is 100% a chance of pee in EVERY pool. You’re fooling yourself if you believe otherwise.

That’s not the justification for you to do it.

Battle? Are you not a parent? Start acting like one.

Seriously how do you think you can control this one?

My children come out of the pool to pee and then go back in. They also go to the bathroom to do this everyday.

Well you win mother of the year. I guarantee you not every 10 year old is.

Yes, because they have “mothers” like you.

Winning motner of the year for having a 10 year old go to the bathroom is setting your standards astoundingly low.

I taught my DS who is now 5 as soon as he was potty trained and he would never pee in the pool. Always tells me when he has to get out and go.
My older son grew up in the city and didn't swim in pools as much and I never thought I had to teach him to get out, but I have a suspicion he pees in the pool. He's 10.

No, I just parent and they are old enough to be potty trained.

Anyone’s child actually admit to doing it? My 7 year old thought it was funny to ask if she could pee in the pool. I told her she had better not or she would 100% be wearing a diaper the rest of the day.

Clearly none of here were/are swimmers. They pee in the pool all the time. It’s a known thing. I’ve even heard of someone purposely peeing while someone was swimming right behind them because they were annoyed at being followed so closely (the swimming equivalent of riding someone’s bumper). You if you spend a lot of time in pools you learn to just accept that someone is probably peeing in it. It is diluted instantly by the large volume of water in the pool. If you really want to worry about gross things in a pool, think about all the dead skin cells and the formation of chloramines…

Watch and see how many adults leave the pool to go pee. Few will. I'm just being honest.

You nasty

Not sure how I'm the nasty one. Seriously, watch adults at the pool. We all know being around water makes you want to pee. But they won't get out of the pool for over an hour. They are peeing in the pool.

Do you have bladder issues? We're usually at the pool for 2-3 hours and if I go before we leave the house, I don't have to go again until we get home.

You parent how they pee? Please enlighten us how you do this? You know they can tell you they don't but I guarantee they do.

I guarantee you know nothing. I am happy to enlighten you seeing that you need educating on parenting skills. Pee before going in pool. If needing to pre while in pool, hop out, walk to toilet, pee into toilet. Voila! My children have been potty trained since toddler stage. Sorry yours aren’t.

NP. I can guarantee you cannot guarantee anything of someone’s children.

It’s called going to the bathroom in a bathroom. Have you not heard of this? Is this a new concept to you? It’s not something kids cannot accomplish.

This is very disgusting but sadly I believe it. So glad my kid never got into swimming as a sport. Foul.

Former swimmer, and can confirm that many (myself included) pee in the pool.
