Which schools feed Beauvoir for K?

I think the points that 1) NCRC PreK is amazing, and 2) That NCRC has gotten really big are both valid points. NCRC PreK is amazing. Both my kids loved it and have great friends from there. But NCRC seems to have REALLY expanded…that makes the whole outplacement process a lot harder…you can’t escape the numbers game. I know there were a lot of unhappy PreK families last year after admissions decisions came out.

NCRC pre k is not academic and does not prepare children for the rigor of k. Times have changed and school want kids that can write letters and are pre reading. NCRC head was the outplacement director at BVR so lots of pull there. My DD's NCRC pre K sent about 20- 25 kids to BVR for K. It made adjusting to BVR for K easier for DD because she knew so many from her pre school and loved having some in her K class. It did feel like an extension of NCRC.

Even if NCRC doesn’t provide this which I am surprised about. They provide something that BVR wants “kids who love to learn”. You buy a kindergarten workbook off of amazon and you are good about pre-reading/writting skills. Am I right?
