We came from a no name daycare and it helped us stand-out. They aren't going to take every kid from NCRC or Little Folks. It was nice not having to compete against anyone from our daycare.

NCRC feeds in for K. But I also know a good number of NCRV kids who got rejections from K at Beauvoir. It’s by no means a guarantee…

Yeah for K they ask for a small amount of kids so it is tricky! Well thanks a lot. I guess it is not a guarantee but it s probably the best option.

Applying for Prek is a better option. 60 spots vs 25 for K.

Don't listen to this. They are the exception, not the rule. If you can, send your child to NCRC, if you are hoping for a #BigThree for pre-k or K.

Siblings get in in PK. So those 60 spots are not really 60… there is no sibling preference in K

I've never quite believed this -- LOTS of NCRC siblings get in to B in kindergarten....

I know it happens, but most siblings get in in PK. My daughter was one and there were several siblings in her class alone.

We are starting at Beauvoir in the fall and have a younger child. We were told by admissions a few weeks ago that sibling preference is just for pre-k.
