I dunno. Trump will insist on a debate. I am actually shocked that the DNC has scrapped debates and so Joe will have his first real test against the Republican nominee and I think that will go badly. I know how it went last time. Trump wasn’t prepared at all and he had COVID. I recall W was crappy in his first re-election debate but then he came back for the next two super prepared. Because of COVID, there was only one Trump Biden debate and that helped Biden. That won’t happen again and this time Biden seems much older.

So just rerun that one if you care about a debate

No one will care what trump wants other than his die hard supporters who are a lost cause. He can whine and cry about whatever he chooses and no one will care anymore.

Biden is not getting protected as much by liberal media. CNN and New York Times have run attacks on him.
On the other hand, NYT also put up a defense of Biden, saying dementia isn't so bad.

It says a lot about you and the current Democratic Party that you are ok just being told it’s Biden. This is your party—as voters and citizens. It isn’t Joe’s. There are two other people officially running for the Democratic nomination but like Maduro in Venezuela and Kim in North Korea, Biden will “win” the nomination because no one else is allowed to challenge him. That is not democracy.

PLENTY of people are capably, physically and mentally, in their 80s. My FIL. Judy Blume (just watched her documentary). Jane Fonda. Robert DiNero. Jane Goodall. . . . the list goes on.
