How many people from high school do you still talk to?

A lot. But I went to 4 different HS. I am only FB friends with anyone from the first 3.

My closest friend of 20 years I met in my senior year of HS and even married someone from my graduating class, which was absolutely not planned and I did not know him prior to dating him. It's interesting since I can only remember 60-80 people of the 400-500 or so in my graduating class. I did not have a traditional college experience so college was not a friend-making adventure for me.

Except I tend to keep in touch with people from all parts of my life - college and jobs, too.

Be aware of people who stay in the same area, but only have the same 1, 2 or 3 friends. Not a good sign.

I am 47 and see 3 friends regularly. One is my best friend; I've known her since middle school and we have stayed in touch since then. The other two are friends from high school; we reconnected when I moved back to the city were we grew up. We have similar interests and kids about the same age. One works about a mile from me and we meet for lunch periodically.

One. We met in high school 36 years ago and we've been best friends ever since. No social media and after HS one of us went to college, and the other went into the military. About 5 years after high school we lived in the same city again. A few years later she moved away, and now we live a 4-hour car ride from each other.

My two best friends are from elem school. We still text daily, even though we live across the country now.

I am 41, and I am in a group of about 100 that chat daily. Around 25-30 of us meet once a year and chat and chill. It was an all-male high school

I never had a great college group so other than my professional network/friends my closest friends are a few friends that I grew up with.
