No funeral or celebration of life wanted

He's dead. He won't know. People get together, his wishes can't stop that. People talk about what's been going on - they'll be talking about him. If he's a good guy, they'll say nice things about him and comfort each other.

Is a celebration of life a ceremony? It could be drinks at the bar. The uncle would forbid friendly drinks at the bar?

The cousins should do what they like.

I don't see a point in it and don't want to burden grieving family with arranging events either but if family wants one them I don't care.
