Does your waitlist number tells you your OVERALL placement...or your placement by school? |
We still can’t see our waitlist number. I assume it will pop up eventually. |
This is a ridiculous system where some people can see their wait list numbers and others can't. |
No one gives up HB spots |
I highly suspect that user error is at play. Log in and then SCROLL DOWN. |
Your waitlist number is in your elementary school allocation. |
Nope. It’s not there. Can’t scroll beyond the bottom. |
Ok. High school lottery. Does that ever move (cause kids put in for everything) or is it just like the MS one? Looking for some advice from experienced APS parents! We have a low ish number but not sure if it’s low enough. In MS my kids always had crazy high numbers and my other HS had a number in the 70s. |
Different poster. I don’t see it either. I’ve checked on desktop and phone. Definitely not user error. At best it’s an APS error. But it seems suspect to me. |
Some do choose to do IB instead, so a decent chance. |
In my experience, the high school waitlist for HB does see more movement than the middle school list especially because you have families who are also looking at private high schools as an option. I cannot tell you how much but there is at least a chance for some movement. |
Can’t speak for high school WL movement but I agree that there is a chance for movement for middle school as families apply to private schools for the 6th grade and they don’t find out results until March. |
Does anyone know if these lists will move at all before the 13th (day to day as spots are declined) or if there is no movement til after the 13th. |
I’m pretty sure they move as soon as someone from your elementary turns down a spot, even before the 13th. |
Newbie question- what is HB and is it to go to school other than one currently at? |
