right now we're eating a lot of warm brussel sprout salads -
a bag of shredded brussel sprouts sauted with olive oil, then whatever you want - we add avocado, chicken or salmon, beans, veg. A touch of goddess dressing and done.

Has anyone tried the branzino filets? Saw them in the freezer section the other day.

That sounds so good! Thanks for the idea!

Two of our go-to’s:

quick fish tacos - frozen panko-breaded tilapia; tortillas (they are very good at TJs!); premade guacamole (or slice up an avocado); bagged broccoli slaw tossed with their cilantro dressing; frozen mexican street corn on the side

carne asada taco Salad - I just broil the carne asada, and serve over a salad made of bagged romaine, shredded mexican cheese, cherry tomatoes, sliced avocados, sliced peppers, sour cream, salad (we like the corn one but all are good), toss in their cilantro dressing and you can crush tortilla chips on top, the sweet potato tortilla chips are good if you can find them

From the refrigerated section, we like their meatloaf and chicken piccata.

I used to do this with the black bean soup before they discontinued it and it was delicious

The carne asada burritos are very decent for a frozen burrito. Can easily add the frozen Spanish rice and a can of refried beans for a full dinner

I did this a few months ago and was disappointed. I got the frozen green chile tamales, beef street tacos, butter chicken, and palak paneer. I ate all of it but it was just okay and my kid didn't like any of it (these are all foods she will eat in homemade or restaurant versions).

It takes trial and error to find the things you like. None of the things you list are things I would buy, and I am a fervent TJ’s shopper. It’s definitely not 100% winners.

My favorite 10 minute meal that we've been having once a week or so and is delicious - frozen kebabs (which are great and only take 5 mins to heat up in air fryer!), the hummus and/or the tzatziki, and a salad of Persian cucumber/grape tomato/herbs - serve w/ rice or pita

Frozen brown or white rice, frozen meatballs or falafel, dolmas in the can, tzatziki, hummus, feta. Can add greens, roasted red pepper, olives--whatever your family likes.

I really like this idea!

Their all-beef meatballs are good.

Pizza dough from the refrigerated section. It's less than $2 for a ball. Buy a bunch and freeze some.

I do a very similar fish taco preparation to the one a couple of comments above: TJ's breaded halibut chunks, lightly sauteed preshredded cabbage, avocado, lime, tortillas. Their green salsa is good.

I like their southwestern salad.

The orange chicken debate is interesting to me because my family of vegetarians loves the meatless version but we also only use half the sauce packet and we cut it with a little tamari sauce. We often toss it on top of a salad or in noodles with edamame or broccoli (which is the only time we use the whole sauce packet.)

Not a fan of TJ's Indian food, besides their frozen bread.
