I’m not surprised. It pulls back the curtain and gives us a person look at certain members of the family. They must be beyond pissed 😂 |
Thanks for your input C |
They better be smart with the sales - not sure how many more money making opportunities they’re going to have after the burned bridges and the spilled tea. |
Nope. Is there any evidence this is the case? He does talk about the conflict between having to do interviews and work with the press (because it was part of his job as a working Royal) and also resenting them for all the lies and mistruths they print. |
Aren’t they donating some of the proceeds to his charities? |
It’s also just a really good read! |
Except, would've gone mad if I had to hear him say "Not Cot" one more time! -NP |
Easy to attack your family when you know they can't fight back. Cowardly. |
Hopefully, they will have the class to just ignore this soap opera and continue on with their lives. |
Oops. You’re right. I worded that poorly. Spare doesn’t suggest that Camilla has been in bed with the press since before Harry was born, although other articles that I’ve read recently — in the wake of the Jeremy Clarkson muck — do strongly support that. My takeaway is that Camilla consorted with members of the press, who released noxious articles about Diana, then, decades later, with even firmer relationships, used the same strategies to attempt to defame Harry and Meghan. I read Spare with this influence in mind, at least as a possibility. |
Yep. I have a relative who has written emails saying cruel and ugly things to me and she has CC’d other relatives and even some non-relatives. I just ignore the emails. I’m pretty sure the other people getting the emails realize that she is not a terribly stable person. |
Have you actually read the book? A basic premise of the book is that members of the family and their aides have been unnamed sources for quite a lot of what gets published in the tabloids. Harry’s stance is that he is openly using the book to tell his own story. I find this credible, and it suggests that Harry is the one who’s fighting back, while the “sources close to the family” are the ones that I’d regard as being craven. Not that all readers will agree with this take, but if you haven’t actually read the book — vs excerpts from it in the very press that Harry is criticizing — your perception and conclusions may be inaccurately slanted. |
Who says they don’t fight back? Camilla had lunch with that nasty Jeremy Clarkson fellow and he wrote an article saying Meghan should be dragged naked through the streets. At least Harry is presenting an actual viewpoint instead of racist hysteria. |
| He is such a whining attention seeker |
I want to hear more about his todger!
