Northeastern ranked 44, which is close enough to be considered elite for this list.

I'll play. My kid and his tight friend group:

Yale - happy
Brown - mixed bag.
Swarthmore - mixed bag but happier than Brown guy.
Vanderbilt - mostly not happy
Georgetown - decidedly unhappy
Deep Springs - deliriously happy

Wake has consistently been ranked 25-30 since it was classified as a national university in the 90s. Prior to that, it was #1 in the Southern region.

It was profiled in a book of the top 50 US colleges around that time as well.

Not sure why you need to knock it
