NY/NJ Pizza - willing to drive, where to go?

Can’t even find “NY/NJ” pizza in “NY/NJ” anymore. But the DMV is a food wasteland.

Corner Slice is New York style pizza. The crust is like cardboard.

Or you could just move back to NY/Nj...

Another “pretty good” one is CSNY pizza on rockville pike.

This. I have to simply accept that there never will be anything as good as Buona Pizza in Bernardsville, NJ. It is heavenly. To pursue something close to it is a fool’s errand.

I have found that the Italian Store comes close, as does the Whole Foods in Clarendon, surprisingly. I have been to Pepe’s in Alexandria, which is good, but it’s not a slice.

Jersey girl here living in Centreville VA. Ciro’s is my favorite. I like it better than Tony’s.

That is what I did. After 17 years of complaining I can't get a large pie, baked ziti Sicilian and a chicken parm sub on Friday nights, I moved back. Gennerro's on South Ave in Scotch Plains was still in my phone contacts.

OP, just accept your fate. It's a tragedy and you will only be disappointed if you try.
