Any specific trainers at Training Ground you liked?

W/o getting into specifics, I really don’t have the space for kettlebells, etc. Just take that one at face value.

Do you have space to unroll a yoga mat? Then you have space for kettlebells and bands. I’m looking at my kettlebells right now and they could literally fit on a cookie sheet. You can probably get away with even less to start out - 10, 15 and 20lb. They could also go on the bottom shelf of a bookshelf.

You’re pretty insistent in a not at all helpful way. I should add that I’m already pretty fit and strong.
I want to get into heavier weights. Little kettlebells are not what I’m looking for.

Are you already deadlifting more than 100lbs? Seriously, kettlebells are small. You could use 2 50lb weights. I get preferring to workout in a gym, or with a bar (which takes up more space, yes). But since this is a public website, I’d like women to know they can lift at home with kettlebells without needing much space at all.

Then perhaps you should start your own thread to inform the women of the world? OP asked for a specific thing and specifically doesn't want to do what you keep advising her to do. Once is fine, but 3x is a bit much.

I made 2 posts. The rest are all in response to people who would rather nitpick over imagined internet rules than actually have a conversation about women’s fitness. Ok you do you.

NP. Thank you for explaining more about strength training at home! I can't afford the kind of specialized one-on-one training boutique gym that OP and PPs are low-key sockpupper promoting.

I tried Fitness Together and told the trainer I wanted to learn to use weights or the weight machine. He had me do mostly squats, elliptical and one weight machine and kept pushing nutrition advice on me.

It felt very much like a “men don”t listen to what women want and instead tell them what the man thinks they need” environment.
