Her best hope is that Bonds retires or McDuffie abandons the seat to run for mayor.


Silverman lost significant support in Ward 3 as well, not just because of her "political player" poll but because she treated her constituents with snark and disrespect during the redistricting process.


it was amusing to watch her throw the Ward 3 Redistricting Committee under the bus for their map and then have Phil do the same thing to her. Slamming unpaid volunteers (who are all clearly involved in their neighborhoods) seems like a bad idea when up for reelection.



How did Silverman throw the redistricting task force under the bus? She backed almost all of their recommendations. Before the council hearing she met with several of the redistricting task force members at a bar, which was then posted on social media. That's another reason why her Ward 3 constituents lost confidence in her.
