Shows you would rewatch if they streamed

Early Edition with Kyle Chandler. That was a good show.

Agree, both really sweet-natured shows! I've found Early Edition episodes posted on YouTube. The quality wasn't as awful as some other older shows posted there. Haven't tried looking for Due South there but I will.

When I say "posted on YouTube," alas, I mean posted by some fan who was able to tape if off TV or whatever -- not officially posted by the network of old. It's really unfortunate. Based on this thread, talks with friends, my own searches for older shows, I truly think that some existing or new streaming service could attract plenty of viewers if it specialized in all these shows and more of the older 1980s-2000s shows.

I wish I could watch Murphy Brown again. Some of those episodes were so funny!

I am finally watching Brooklyn 99 with my teen (and like it), but I always refused to watch before now out of loyalty to Homicide. I think teen would be fascinated to see “Holt” as Frank Pembleton.

Was coming on here to say Homefront - LOVED that show. I have a few episodes on VCR tape...would even buy DVDs if they had it.

Northern Exposure, Hill Street Blues...LA Law...

+3 on Homefront.

I’d also watch Night Court.

I loved Homefront too.

Party of Five

We are re-watching ER with our kids on Hulu & it has held up well—they like it & we are enjoying it all over again.

I have a TV antenna and I get reruns of Murphy Brown on one of the channels I get with my TV antenna. The channel is called Rewind TV. Murphy Brown comes on at midnight for two episodes Monday through Friday.
