If you work out at home, do you repeat clothing?

You're putting on clothes that will be sweaty in 10 minutes. Air them out after your workout and they're fine for several more.

Thanks,
Earth

Might as well extend this crazy train. If you’ve reproduced you are doing 100,000,000,000 times more damage to Mother Earth than washing gross workout clothing.

Yes, I wear workout clothes more than once. I agree with the PP who mentioned that you just get sweaty again. I usually wear the same outfit four workout days and then wash. Typing that, it sounds gross!

My sports bras get soaked in sweat so I have to wash after one wear. I exercise outside and sweat both summer and winter. In the colder months, I wear a shirt over the sports bra and I can sometimes wear it again if it’s really cold. Usually not. Leggings and bike shorts are washed after every workout unless it is so cold that I didn’t sweat. I line dry my exercise clothes so they last longer. I have enough clothes that I do laundry twice a week (this includes DH’s laundry).

At home I just wear a sports bra so I don’t have to wash any sports tops. I wash the bra and pants every time as I get sweaty. Have lots to rotate.

No, but I am dripping sweat from what feels like every pore. My clothes are soaked through. At first I thought it was because I was overweight, but I’ve lost nearly 50lbs and am well within normal BMI now and I still sweat like it’s going out of style.

If I run, my clothes get washed. If I do challenging yoga or it’s hot out and I’m sweating, I wash. If I do a restorative yoga or a walk and barely feel like it was a workout … I probably we wear the pants and maybe the shirt. I always wear underwear with my workout clothes

I wear workout clothing twice because I alternate lifting and cardio days. I get sweaty on lifting days but not crazy sweaty like on cardio days. I hang my workout clothes to air out after lifting then wear them the next workout, which is cardio.

No. But I also don’t care what others do and neither should you.

I'm not the OP, but it's not that I care what others do, but it is very helpful to hear other opinions to either reinforce my thoughts or expose me to new ideas and help me change.

If I wear a new pair of workout pants each time, I would have to do an extra load of laundry each week (we only do laundry 1x/week and I have 3 pairs of pants). Is it gross to repeat workout clothing if no one else is around me when I'm wearing it? I put my workout clothes on immediately before, and shower immediately after.

You're in your own house. Who cares whether it's gross?
