Voted straight blue several weeks ago. None of the GOP’s treason (or sedition, or hatred of women or any of the other terrible things they do and believe) are a new surprise.

Now Prigozhin admits he owns the Internet Research Agency

Would Russian influence on the election be less objectionable if they formed a PAC, wined and dined politicians, gave their kids no-show jobs and filled their pockets with cash?

No. It’s no less objectionable that their money keeps killing us via the NRA, either.

Americans don't want to believe that we are susceptible to this type of influence operation.

I feel pretty certain that almost everything we've seen for the last seven-ish years is foreign influenced. I don't believe Trump is a witting or active player, but that he, his family, and his business/political organization have been turned against the US by foreign actors and with the knowing or unknowing help of US citizens.

Although I doubt what I'm about to say, I wonder if any member of the Trump family have regrets about being turned against the US. What a legacy to leave.

I doubt it, they have zero regrets for all they did for Israel.

Right because prior to their involvement NRA was mostly handing out cookies and cuddling kittens. Wake up. America's love of guns is entirely homegrown.

Hm. that's a bit of a circular reasoning.

He's a liar, so he is lying about election interference, and the troll posts by them aren't troll posts but facts because I believe they are facts and not troll posts by the Russian propaganda machine.

That is the problem with liars. You never know if they are telling the truth, and this applies to Trump, as well. We all know he lies. So, why do MAGA believe everything he says?

That's some twisted logic. I see the misinformation campaign works well on you. Must be low IQ like Trump.

Russia is the sworn enemy of the United States.

China is not one of our “trading partners.”

China is also an enemy of the United States.

Criticizing AIPAC is antisemitic and shouldn't be allowed

I remember the NRA of the 80s, because my father was (and is) a member. I disagreed with it then but I really disagree with it now. The “gun safety classes, responsible gun owner, deer hunting is a family sport!” NRA of the 1980s is a different species from the “kindergarten teachers should be armed and AR-15s are normal hunting rifles” NRA of today. You wake up. The GOP is riddled with treasonous rot.

NRA then and NRA now are STILL not concerned with gun safety and fought tooth and nail every single gun restriction introduced in the wake of school shootings. The Russians didn't make them do it. It's the toxic, pernicious love affair America has with guns.
