I admit, I love this song too, even though it's overplayed.
Also love Car Crash by Matt Nathanson and the version of Beautiful (sung by Mercedes/Amber Riley) on the Glee Showstoppers soundtrack.

I love everything MN does, especially his latest album. And wow, what an amazing performer. See him live, if you can.

Incredible, and so charming. Loved his interactions with the audience. We saw him at Wolf Trap with the Indigo Girls last year. Such a great concert.

do you listen to this around the kids?

Not the pp you quoted, but give me a break. I love Robot Chicken, but I'd never watch that in front of my kids. Hell, I wouldn't even watch the Daily Show with them in the room. Being a parent doesn't mean that you have to listen to Wiggles Records exclusively until the kids hit HS.

Back on topic.... my Flavor of the Moment Fave is probably Savior by Rise Against. My all time favorite I'd have to get back to you about.

Why so defensive? I asked this question out of curiosity, not out of judgement. If your kids are small maybe you do listen to it around them. My son is 3 so I'm at the point where I am starting to watch the lyrics I allow him to hear.

So you give me a break for the snarky, totally out of line response.

Yes!! I love that song. I think Pink co-wrote it. I'd love to hear her record a version, too.

There are a few other great songs on Adam's album and a bunch of clunkers, too. It's pretty uneven . . . .

Imma Be by Black Eyed Peas. Every time it comes on the radio I get really excited and dance around in my seat. The other drivers must think I'm a freak.

I swear, if I hear "Hey Soul Sister" one more time, I'm going to beat Pat Moynihan and the other members of Train with their stupid ukelele.

Well, for a long time, I wasn't. But then I kind of fell in love with a certain musician. From there, I started to follow him a bit online. And then saw several of his concerts. He had some fantastic opening acts, and many of the fans online introduced me to other artists. It's been a lot of fun to see some of these groups/artists get their start and hang with them in clubs and now a few are getting prominent radio play.

What musician and what opening acts? Music nut here, just curious.

HAHA - I agree!

My husband gets mad at me for letting my kid listen to the radio with me. I just can't subject myself to kids music, so we listen to a lot of pop/top 40 stuff. She LOVES Beyonce's "Single Ladies" and anything by Lady Gaga.

I actually have been into some of my old music lately - my ring tone is "Freedom '90" by George Michael.

I'm not the poster of this message, but the same thing happened to me..I was Led Zepplin, Jimi Hendrixs, Rolling Stones kinda gal, then got a wee bit obsessed with Beck...which begat a fondness for the Flaming Lips, Dust Bros, etc.

By Taylor Swift - so cheesy and I hate most country but that is definitely more pop and it's super catchy. Plus that taylor is a cutie.

Just recently watched the movie, Valentine's Day, On Demand. Taylor Swift was the best thing in it. She was so funny!
