Republicans will be in the majority of the House and Senate come January 3, 2023.

Bank it.

The shenanigans voting day will be entertaining. And in full public view.

There won't be any shenanigans. The Republicans are going to crush on Election Day. Republican support is still woefully undercounted by pollsters. Look at a 5 point Democrat lead as a tie.

And I'm not a Republican, but I'm wise enough to see patterns.

I fully agree with you but if you don’t think that there won’t be voting day issues, you are high.

Duckworth’s opponent’s name was ‘accidentally’ left off ballots. They were caught and are correcting their ‘mistake’

Forgot to add that these ballots were already sent to people who have been early voting by mail

Then there is the error on ballots in AZ....

Up to 1,000 Arizona voters were mistakenly sent ballots with only federal races. The Secretary of State is responsible for elections in AZ. Who is the Secretary of State in AZ? Katie Hobbs, who just so happens to be running for governor as a Democrat.

Could be that this was an honest error. Could be there is something more nefarious going on.

But, you can bet that if the Secretary of State were Republican, the left would be outraged.

So you’re saying that Katie Hobbs conspired to leave her own race off the ballot so people couldn’t vote for her? That’s, um, an interesting theory.

Depends on who received the ballots with errors. If they were predominantly Republicans.... well.

2.3 million people voted in the last Arizona governors race. 1,000 ballots isn’t even a rounding error. Your theory is stupid.

Oy. How often did this happen in the past few decades? How was it handled?

Betting markets:

House certainly R.

Senate still in question but currently edge to Rs in the three states up for grabs: AZ, PA, and GA. ( NV seems pretty surely R.) If the Rs hold their edge, Senate would be 47 D and 53 R. (This is also RCP projection.)

There is still a question as to whether NH may ultimately surge R. That would give the Rs 54.
