| I would wear jeans, a dark, flowy v neck top, and ballet flats. Minimal makeup and jewelry, hair straightened by me. |
|
I’d probably wear straight leg jeans, boots with a small heel or Chelsea boots, and a sweater I can tuck in on the front, and great lipstick. Like this -

No, don't say all that. Just say: Ugh, sorry! Saturday isn't going to work after all. But let's catch up soon! THEN, after they are gone, just say to Larla at your next catch up: Life is too short to deal with middle school bullies. Also, if your friend knows they bullied you I would not consider her a good friend. A good friend would have said, Bully A and Bully B are in town. They are different now. Do you mind going out with them? |
I would wear PP's Everlane boot and pants choice with this sweater depending on your coloring. I can't wear cream on top, as an example, but I can wear camel. https://www.everlane.com/products/womens-straight-leg-crop-stone And if you have a long necklace with this one. |
| Jeans. White button down top. Casual jacket (over the shoulders.) Coded luxury bag (that you already own or borrow from someone). For the love of god everyone stop wearing those short booties they cut you off at the leg and make you look like elves. |
This is the answer. |
Petite busty (DDDs) hourglass, carry most weight in my chest/rear/thighs though recently acquired a little belly that I'd like to camouflage. |
Don't think I said I'd do either. I almost never wear makeup, so mascara plus lip gloss (okay who am I kidding, cherry chapstick) will be"going all out" for me! |
^ These options seem right. Pants if you're more of a pants person, dress if you're more of a dress person, some in-style chunky boots. OP: I think however the night turns out, you will feel better for having gone. It feels good to make yourself do something hard like this, once you've done it. They may have changed - they may not have changed. Either way, you will see how you've changed when you find yourself with them. |
Ah in that case I'd wear jeans too - and some top you feel great in. I would wear clogs but I always wear clogs - put on whatever shoes make you feel your best. |
What a great sweater - and what a great price! |
PP here - I have it and compared it to the jenni kayne sweater and they’re almost identical! |
This. Wear what YOU feel great in. |

High waisted Mother jeans (a style that makes your butt look great), cropped sweater, ankle boots (something stylish like this: https://www.neimanmarcus.com/p/rag-bone-shiloh-leather-chelsea-booties-prod253840492)
Also, get a blowout and make sure your brows and teeth look great. Go get 'em! I did something similar at my 20-year reunion and it felt great. |
This or the outfit from the elf shoe comment above (white button down, sweater, quiet luxury bag) are probably your best bets. I like Chelsea boots as the shoe option but will now smile at the elf shoe association. Flats would be fine too. |
