People in DC don't vote. They live here, but they only know the rep from their home state. I have been complaining about Bowser forever and people just look at me. I am am Dem, but think she is terrible, as are many of our council people. People just refuse to educate themselves and continue to vote for the same names on the ballot.

Imagine thinking Bowser is terrible when DC is in excellent fiscal shape, development is booming and the city is gentrifying.

True. That's what happens anywhere there is one party rule. That's why we need ranked choice jungle primaries.
