Gold chains, hoop earrings, those croissant shaped hoops.

Alll the gold jewelry I got when I was in high school for big events (confirmation, birthdays, graduations)

the croissant stuff is really outdated already.

What are croissant shaped hoops? Can someone post a link to an example? I must have missed that trend.

Is it this?

Yes exactly - it's already very dated - the earrings and the ring, especially.

I don't know and I don't care. I just go with what I like.

Same. Right now the Cartier love line and the Van Cleef and Arpels Alhambra are very popular. Tiffany's Schlumberger line is also a classic. My favorite is the Edwardian period.

The Alhambra stuff is everywhere and so overdone. There are a million versions of rip offs. It's so basic.

The line is from the 60s and it's beautiful but destroyed by wannabes. I don't particularly like the Cartier love line (too chunky) but it's undeniably popular.

This is preposterous. You are such sheeple. These style have been around since at least the 1960s and cycle in and out. Wear what you like and what fits your personal style, not what some Insta influencer tells you is "in" right now.

Did you not read the question? It was literally asking about what was dated.

Gold hoops (especially the thicker styles), curb chains/herringbone chains, Van Cleef Alhambra, Cartier Love

I never liked pandora personally even back when it was more trendy.

I’ll never not wear pearls no matter how “dated” people say they are.

Interesting. Mine from when I was a teenager are at the bottom of my jewelry box and in great need of a cleaning. Glad to see them having a second life!

"undeniably popular" Nope. People are lemmings and if one person says something is hot and it's expensive enough, the lemmings follow. Admit it. The Alhambra and Cartier Love lines are the coach purse for the middle class.

Um Cartier Love bracelets are $6000+ and Van Cleef Alhambra pieces are $2000+. There's nothing middle class about them.

Avoid the trends.

With jewelry it is better to wear one thing that you like.
