Gold chains, hoop earrings, those croissant shaped hoops. Alll the gold jewelry I got when I was in high school for big events (confirmation, birthdays, graduations) |
| I think if you have Kendra Scott that isn't the faux druzy chunky stuff that she started with, it's fine. I actually have a few of her gold necklaces that I love. |
the croissant stuff is really outdated already. |
What are croissant shaped hoops? Can someone post a link to an example? I must have missed that trend. |
Is it this? https://mejuri.com/shop/products/croissant-dome-hoops?qID=16f938ca14f8005a080ca6844202901d |

I love mikimoto pearl station necklaces. Timeless and a little more contemporary than the traditional strand. Which I do love too. Simple gold bracelets, diamond studs, basic small hoops in white or yellow gold
I never liked pandora personally even back when it was more trendy. |
Same. Right now the Cartier love line and the Van Cleef and Arpels Alhambra are very popular. Tiffany's Schlumberger line is also a classic. My favorite is the Edwardian period. https://www.1stdibs.com/jewelry/rings/cluster-rings/russian-imperial-era-antique-sapphire-diamond-gold-ring/id-j_673302/ |
Ha! So true. I have several pieces saved from the 80s and early 90s that I'm actually wearing again. |
| So are pendant necklaces still in style or are those dated now too (e.g. coins, dog tags, evil eyes, etc.)? |
| Stop being a lemming. Wear what YOU still like. That is how you develop your own style. |
| Get some hand me down family jewelry and wear it as a statement. |
Yes, and some are even more extreme/thicker. I'm not a fan, but I do have some still from the 90s. I never get rid of my real gold jewelry. I figure it will come back in some day or I'll have a granddaughter/neice to give it to. |
Still loving both of these things. But you do you and stick to your simple style hon. Thank goddess some of us are different from you. |
Hmm. You're saying all pendants are out? Who are you people? |
The Alhambra stuff is everywhere and so overdone. There are a million versions of rip offs. It's so basic. |
