Do government jobs ever hire people 50+?

I was thinking about looking for jobs with my state for this very reason!

That is doable for me. I don't feel like I have to be rude or annoying and am fine with a younger manager.

I mean I don’t care what age my manager is, because I’m not ageist! I’ve had younger and older, we all have our roles and strengths.

I never pretend I know more than anyone, and do my best to find subtle ways (asking right questions rather than telling) if infact I do know something.
