Uh. Ask your neighbors. Oh, I see from Mclean hamlet. You probably don’t know your neighbors.

Are you confusing McLean Hamlet with Mclean hamlet?

McLean Hamlet resident here. I refuse to talk politics (outside of a few people) and usually get most of the info I need from yard signs. Curiously, there’s not a single sign in sight. So I’m thinking it’s Connolly.

Many of my Democratic friends who flipped last minute to vote for Youngkin due to the fake CRT nonsense are supporting her. Several posted about feeling bamboozled by Youngkin, especially when it came to women's reproductive rights and now transgender rights in schools.

One of Wexton's teams was at the Leesburg farmer's market this past Saturday campaigning and handing out sample Democratic ballots to anyone who wanted one, and most walking around the market had them in hand or in their bags.

This just all sounds so... believable!

Could you be any ruder? Rhetorical question, btw.

Our street is littered with his stupid signs, it makes me nervous every time I see one go up in someone's yard.

You clearly haven't read any of the stuff he writes. BTW, I know him personally and he doesn't consider himself a POC. (I'm not arguing this point, people can identify how they want) It's on the other politics forum too. Take a look.

Some of the gems include:

"Government needs to stay out of our businesses, out of our homes, out of our churches, away from our children and away from our guns. "

"The government does not give us rights as parents; they are our natural rights given to us by God and as such, cannot be removed. "

" Every pre-born child is a human being deserving of protection as the most vulnerable members of our society. "

Sounds good to me, which is why I'll be voting for him.

You do not believe there is a correlation between people who go to farmer's markets and people who vote for Democrats?
The dear soul who lives across the street from me in Arlington was active in Democratic politics for years until she was gently put out to pasture by the younger set. I was doing a lot of gardening last weekend and saw her trudging throughout the neighborhood handing out Democratic leaflets or placing them on front door handles. She gave me one and I politely took it (I used it later to scoop up some dog poop someone deposited in the gutter without a bag). I would no more vote for a Democrat than leave dog poop in a gutter, but I am sure she thinks I will.

Sometimes, people are just polite.

Where do you live? Serious question. It makes me question my neighbor's intellectual capacity to see this sort of thing. Fortunately I haven't seen one. (Did see Trump last election though. Lost all respect for some of them)

The district boundaries changed after the 2020 census, and I believe go into effect starting with this election. I remember getting some mail with updated voting location and district, but it didn't impact my region. I'm pretty sure District 8 absorbed anything inside the beltway, and District 11 absorbed FFX county outside the Beltway. District 10 is now Loudon/Prince William/Fauquier counties.

Ashburn. Our neighborhood is very split politically.

Debate earlier today:

Barbara Comstock was a Trump supporter and that cost her the election. Any Trump supporters would lose in Dranesville district- we ain't having that.

Redistricting cost her more than anything. And she's a Trump critic.

Really? Do you actually follow your district's election results? You guys are second only to the Springfield District in # of R precincts. Granted, that's not a lot, but still.

She was a Trump supporter before realizing she would benefit more by criticizing him.
