14 so no laundry on a 2-week vacation |
About 7 pairs of shorts. I tend to wear them only outside on a hot summer day because I get very cold in indoor air-conditioned spaces. |
At least half a dozen. Used to not own or wear any but I’m fit and shorts make much more sense for an active lifestyle outdoors with kids. |
Lots. I’m casual and my legs look good. |
? When it's 97 and humid..I wear shorts. 53 |
Maybe 15? I'm 49, love shorts. I tend to like ones that are sort of flared around the legs, not too short, not too long - I like a-line skirts best, too. |
Why the snark? I wear shorts, I'm an adult (not a grandma, though) and I have great looking legs. I think we agree adult women can wear shorts...even you with your unsightly legs, since you live in Arizona. -actual dcum |
I used to own almost zero-- I think it was a combination of chub rub annoyance and just... when I was a little bigger, they always rode up between my thighs, or the side pockets gaped (I have much bigger hips than my waist). A decent pair of denim shorts-- I had one or two, but that was it. Even since I've lost weight, I do own a few pair of denim shorts, and I found a great pair of slightly dressy shorts on my trip to Asia (I'm short, everything fit me there!) but that's it. Even though I'm short and my legs are nice enough, I don't find shorts such a great look on me. IDK. Maybe I'm just not used to them. |
Zero. I am 47 and stipped wearing shorts 15 years ago. |
A dozen or so. I’m 39 and a size 8/10 and I think skirts and dresses look better on me but they’re not always practical and when it’s approaching 100 degrees outside I’m not that worried about what’s stylish or flattering. |
Zero over here. I'm also 56, I work out a ton although I'm not an instructor or runner, yet I don't feel like my legs are shorts-worthy ![]() |
Same. And I’m 50. Not short-shorts, of course. I’m 5’8” with shorter legs, and a 5” inseam is good on me. My nicer shorts are 7”. |
