How many pairs of shorts do you own?

14 so no laundry on a 2-week vacation

About 7 pairs of shorts. I tend to wear them only outside on a hot summer day because I get very cold in indoor air-conditioned spaces.

At least half a dozen. Used to not own or wear any but I’m fit and shorts make much more sense for an active lifestyle outdoors with kids.

Lots. I’m casual and my legs look good.

Maybe 15? I'm 49, love shorts. I tend to like ones that are sort of flared around the legs, not too short, not too long - I like a-line skirts best, too.

My legs look so good, though!

Ok grandma. I have an entire drawer full. I live in AZ.

Why the snark? I wear shorts, I'm an adult (not a grandma, though) and I have great looking legs. I think we agree adult women can wear shorts...even you with your unsightly legs, since you live in Arizona.

I used to own almost zero-- I think it was a combination of chub rub annoyance and just... when I was a little bigger, they always rode up between my thighs, or the side pockets gaped (I have much bigger hips than my waist). A decent pair of denim shorts-- I had one or two, but that was it. Even since I've lost weight, I do own a few pair of denim shorts, and I found a great pair of slightly dressy shorts on my trip to Asia (I'm short, everything fit me there!) but that's it. Even though I'm short and my legs are nice enough, I don't find shorts such a great look on me. IDK. Maybe I'm just not used to them.

Zero. I am 47 and stipped wearing shorts 15 years ago.

A dozen or so. I’m 39 and a size 8/10 and I think skirts and dresses look better on me but they’re not always practical and when it’s approaching 100 degrees outside I’m not that worried about what’s stylish or flattering.

I’m a 56 year old hot yoga instructor. And runner.
I don’t care how it looks.

Zero over here. I'm also 56, I work out a ton although I'm not an instructor or runner, yet I don't feel like my legs are shorts-worthy Too veiny, and my skin on my thighs is getting too crepey. I live in SoCal, so I for sure could/should be wearing them I just don't feel confident.

Same. And I’m 50. Not short-shorts, of course. I’m 5’8” with shorter legs, and a 5” inseam is good on me. My nicer shorts are 7”.
