And 250 per grade is a nice sweet spot. Not 600-800 per grade like this areas large country public high schools and not 140 like the smaller independent school grade sizes.


I don't know about Senior class, but Junior class and under are over 300. My son just graduated and they had just under 300. Definitely larger than 250 per class.

Stone Ridge is not what we want. First of all, there are no study periods in US—just one a week usually so there isn’t any time to make up work or meet with teachers ( I’m the one who posted the question about SJC and HC). They are too strict with the kids in MS and US. There is no feeling of the typical high school experience with football games and dances etc. It’s super affluent and though I know there are parents with kids su at SJC, it’s not the same country club feeling as SR.
