NP. I don’t believe anyone on here participated in the holocaust so they would not need to atone.

Also remember the British manipulated the US to continue the empire and its system of exploitation with the fear of communism. We crush democracy in Iran so BP could continue to get rich on Iranian oil. Iran wanted the money from the oil to develop their country. That would mean BP would not get the money. Same type of thing happened in Nigeria, South Africa, Vietnam, etc

Yes, people are conflating the present and past. There's nothing dissimilar here. We owe recognition, apologies, even reparations, but it all doesn't come down to one monarch with no power.

Correct. Her country stole so many jewels and other resources from other countries and the royal family has many. Others sit in their museums. They should all be given back. This is not ancient history. India only got its independence in 1947.

It’s en vogue to just spew hatred against white people and white women in particular. Seems like there was great decolonization during her “reign” which we all know was not a reign at all.
