Journalism grad making 130k salary in the media industry at 30... good or bad?

| It’s good. There are many would be journalists out there that make a lot less. It’s nothing to sneeze at. But if you are hungry and have the right mentor, you can make more. But that is definitely a small percentage of journalism grads out there. |

I knew union television cameramen and soundmen who easily pulled in this money 20 years ago before OT even kicked in.
Now if you are talking being a writer that’s a different tale - this would be an amazing salary for a journalism writer at 30. |
