+1

OP apparently you are not the only person who eats so many avocados.
Oprah owns an avocado orchard because she thinks avocados are too expensive: https://www.today.com/food/oprah-owns-avocado-orchard-because-she-thinks-avocados-are-too-t151978

This reads like a wacky word problem.

But I am so troubled by the overeating. Barf. This would give me massive bathroom problems. In what world dud you think this was ok? How many of you are obese?

(And 1000 calories of avocado per day might not be exactly healthy.)

1000 calories of avocado is much healthier than consuming protein powder.

Getting half of your daily calories from one food source is never a good idea.

It’s not half the daily calories for an active teen boy. My 16 year old athlete needs about 3500-4000 calories a day.

Sounds like you don’t know many teen boys if you think 4 avocados is overeating!

Stop eating all fruits and veg. They are taking all the water in the world. Cheetos, pop tarts, and other man made foods require very little water. Much better for the environment.

I have two teen boy athletes, and they do not eat 4 avocados/day nor would they care to. That's a lot of food boredom. They could easily eat one avocado daily without getting bored. But 4? That's outrageous.
Nice job, OP. You have joined the ranks of burgundy washcloths!

80% of Avocado in US comes from Mexico. Most are from Michoacán which do not need irrigation.

Maybe, but those avocado farms have also been commandeered by the drug lords so when you buy them you are lining their pockets and contributing to the violence. It's kind of a no-win situation.

That is really not healthy. I think you should not be eating more than 15/week for the whole family. Eat a rainbow.

I beg to differ. College athletes eat a lot of avocados everyday.

Growing up overseas, we ate only seasonal fruit and veges because of high freight costs. Asparagus was available a few weeks in spring only, not all year. I didn't have an avocado until I was over 25.

There were still lots of athletes despite the lack of avocados

I looked up Michael Phelps' diet from his years of peak performance. Not an avocado in sight.

Next you are going to say all that California pot is bad for the environment.

It’s not fair the trees don’t grow as far north as NOVA.

Have you considered that Michael Phelps just doesn’t like avocados very much?
