Current rate for a nanny in Howard county

You cannot possibly think you should be able to support anyone beyond yourself (with a roommate lifestyle) on a salary that a FAMILY pays you with take home pay after taxes. You need to be in a dual income family if you have kids, or not have them, or get a job where an actual corporation can offer you the benefits you want (but I’m guessing you have no skill set that would get you hired). Some families who can afford it will pay it, but most of you will just be unemployed.

To PP - you cannot possibly have a nanny if you can only afford someone who is happy to live in "roommate style" you are describing. It is an Au Pair, or a daycare for you, sorry!
