How is it hyperbole given the vote yesterday? Republicans could have easily just voted for the bill and shown all of us that democrats were making a big deal out of nothing. But they voted against it.

Yeah, even if Dobbs bumps up Dem turnout (which I think it will), I’m not sure it will be enough to “swing” anything in this coming election. But Rs can’t help themselves and will probably pass some crazy shit (or make a serious effort) on abortion/ contraception and that’ll scare folks for ‘24…
