Will NC flip blue this midterm with the new maps? Cheri Beasley has a decent shot at winning the senate seat and there are more swing districts in the house.

NC should be a blue state, but the Rs have so heavily gerrymandered it.

I have a lot of friends there as I went to college down there. They are all planning to work hard on flipping the senate seat

Why would he win in NC if it’s gerrymandered in favor of republicans?

the house will be split 50/50 and dems will win the senate seat

I hope you people realize that the DC salaries of 500K plus are not so in NC? Therefore, more people are focusing on putting gas in their car and feeding their families.

The Ds might...MIGHT...win the 13th District if they overperform in November. That's about it.

More Republicans typically vote during midterm elections than Democrats.

My response has been bolded. I was responding to the OP saying that NC 'should' be blue.

Our most recent data point is that it is not.
