It’s a stretch to say that someone who didn’t grow up in Baltimore is misrepresenting where he is from when he says/writes that he and another man with the same name, who did in fact grow up in Baltimore, grew up at the same time in the same streets? Your idea of being honest and forthright is clearly different than mine. It’s this type of playing fast and loose with the truth that bothers me, along with the unwillingness to own it or correct it.

My kids are growing up as close to Baltimore as Pasadena and if they ever said they grew up in Baltimore I would laugh in their faces! Absurd.
