I am not looking down on the girls but it makes just finding a roommate a nightmare for larger girls (ones that don’t like their size.)
I know there is more body positivity now but still — it’s really discouraging that bikini shots are a norm when finding a same-gender roommate should not be related to your looks. |

And they drank the kool aid pushed by the media, entertainment industry, etc that women’s primary value is their looks/sexuality. Parents have to work to counteract this pervasive message. |

OP here. While someone had my last reply flagged, all I will say is that it takes a lot to raise a kid these days, especially a confident young female. All I can hope is that I have given my own daughter the right guidance and that she will make good decisions during college.
I'll leave it at that. |
