And for the record, I 100% agree with Reimer on getting rid of SROs.

+100 & all the candidates know SROs are back in schools so focusing on them is a moot point.

With all of the recent Supreme Court rulings, I think having Democrats in charge across the board is not just my personal preference, but a good insurance policy for a very Blue community in a Blue state. I don't think Elrich works well with the Council & I do think we need to address the countywide housing shortage. Although I voted for Elrich last time, my vote is now 100% for Riemer. Blair isn't even a successful businessman (not like I would value that over experience as an elected official or in local government); his dad started his business, which Blair took over. Totally reminds me of Trump getting $1M from his dad & then folks crowing about what a successful businessman he is.

I’m the PP above. How is it a moot point? Shouldn’t we examine the methods used to pull SROs in the first place, particularly since that hastened decision has now been reversed? Isn’t it worth critically examining how the council operated? Did council members listen to all constituents? Did they thoroughly research the matter? These are valid questions since we are in an election cycle.

So Riemers record of bad decision making is moot? Honestly bizarre argument.

SROs are not back in schools. They very slightly modified the program to all principals to invite them in for certain activities. But in reality, they are running calls so much among all their cluster schools, they don't have time for the relationship-building that was so key for violence prevention.

Magruder was the first school shooting. I'm terrified it won't be the last. Cops are out there pulling ghost guns off kids like they are candy.

This. When are we going to have a serious investigation into the shady relationship with developers?

If you think Blair and Elrich care about you, you clearly aren't paying attention.

I am also a NIMBY. So I will vote for Ehrlich.

Don't believe the polls!!! Riemer can still win but he needs YOUR help! Knock on doors, donate time, show the world that we want a sane, pragmatic politician leading Montgomery County in 2023!

Sane and pragmatic? You are talking about the wrong guy! Reimer will tell whoever he is talking to wherever it is they want to hear (in other words, he is a liar). He has given away millions, actually over 12 years probably billions, in tax breaks to developers. Development in itself is not the problem, but development without the infrastructure to keep up with the development is, and that is where Montgomery County has massive problems. And, those problems lay squarely at the feet of the County to Council, of which Reimer has been a member for 12 years.

All Riemer can do is take anti-Elrich voters from Blair. If you want Elrich to win, knock on doors for Riemer.

GGW is set to ENDORSE Riemer any day now, that will propel him to within STRIKING DISTANCE of the disastrous Marc Elrich!

Friends, he needs your energy! You can make a difference today by getting out the word about how Hans is the best thing for Montgomery County's future.

I like Riemer because he looks like a young, normal guy.

Riemer is what MoCo needs and honestly, Maryland could use him as well. First stop County Executive! Next stop??? Governor of Maryland.

From the GGWash website:
“What about Maryland and Virginia?
Right now, GGWash does not have policy staff working in Maryland and Virginia. We’re thrilled to be hiring a regional policy director in the near future, but we do not anticipate the timing of that hire or our available funding will make it possible to conduct endorsements outside of DC in 2022.”
