We have a choice this year and we can either go with a failure in Marc Elrich, who's leftist policies are hurting the county, we can go with David Blair who is a Republican acting as a Democrat or we can elect Hans Riemer, the most qualified and best person for the job.
Vote Riemer if you want to save Montgomery County! |
| Funny that you can’t be bothered to say just WHY you believe this. If you can fling out details for the other candidates, surely you can find a few persuasive thing to say about a candidate that you’re anonymously trying to get others to support. |
| Blair is a developer backed candidate and will build build build! Elrich is a NIMBY. Riemer seems to offer the middle ground in this case. |
| I wish there was credible Republican opposition |
| Nice try Hans! |
| I think only TP/SS folks hate developers. |
| One of Riemer’s paid high school interns found DCUM! |
You seem to be painting Riemer as a middle-ground between two extremes. That’s not how I see it. Riemer had 12 years on the council, and therefore he needs to take some credit for hurting the county, as you put it, along with Elrich. He lost my respect during the SRO debacle, which is just now being corrected with the new MOU. |
| Riemer is just as much an extremist as Elrich. The only difference between the two is that Riemer wants taxpayers to subsidize billionaire developers. Neither has a viable strategy for growth or anything else. No thanks. Blair is the only choice for ending the County’s decline. |
Agree 100%. Blair without question. MC needs to move to the center, quickly. |
| Yep, Blair. No brainer. |
| Wow. Painting Riemer as a moderate? Nice try. |
|
I’m the moderate from the Elrich/Blair post and after research I am voting for Blair.
A vote for Reimer is a vote for Elrich. |
Exactly. Well put. |
| You would think someone who has had 12 years of service as a council member could run on their record? |
