How long before you knew your spouse was the one?

We were at a dinner with a bunch college friends. After that first conversation we both knew. My husband called his best friend on the way home to tell him he met his wife. Took me a bit longer to say the same thing aloud. I knew, but it seemed insane that it could be so clear so fast.

A few months. But, it will be different for everyone. And it may also be different for the man and woman as well involved in the relationship. It was my second marriage. That lasted 7 years. No children. This is her first marriage.
