I have never taken GGW seriously since the streetcar debacle. They strongly advocated for that massive boondoggle and they have never accepted responsibility or accountability for what a waste this was. But I guess it did it’s job, the streetcar spurred gentrification of H St, so at least their developer funders were happy. So mission accomplished.

The GGW position is whatever will maximize developer profits in any circumstance.

Years ago, I could find useful things to read at GGW amid the smugness and sanctimony, but that is less and less the case.
