No that’s wasn’t my comment and intent. However, associating a cleaner and friendlier city thread is against one or the other race says a lot, every race wants and is capable of being nice and keeping it clean. It’s individuals who decide they don’t care, not whole races. For goodness sake, stop brining race into every thread. Just think of people as people. |
| There are so many musicians, florists and painters in the city, why don’t we see many working at tourist areas, stations and shopping area. Easy money and adds a festive flair. |
| How about we reduce gun violence. That would make DC much more "sanctuary-esque" for me. |
Or you could just be kind and patient and considerate, as initial PP suggested...
|
| For all cyclists to obey traffic laws (especially stop signs). |
I'm impressed that PP isn't worried about getting her ass beat by yelling at strangers on the street. Where do you live, PP? Woodley? |
But not drivers? Yikes. |
Why do you care so much about this? You always post the same nonsense attack on cycling. I have literally NEVER seen a rider fail to stop at a stop sign of red light. This literally never happens, except in your crazy world. Go away troll. |
| Is there a way to dedicate one day a month to “Be a good neighbor day”. There can be cleaning, meet ups etc plan to improve neighborhoods. Any better suggestions to get people thinking and acting? |
There is literally nothing stopping you from doing this on your own. But I guess what you are saying is that you don’t want to do it, you want other people to do it. |
Whoa! Hit a sore spot. Troll? I’ve never posted on this subject just noticed a trend where cyclists expect people in cars to yield to them as they run stop signs in Chevy Chase. And I feels the same about cars. But yes, keep running those stop signs until your ass gets run over. |
Why do you always lie about obvious things? Everyone has seen bicyclists blowing stop signs. Heck, the cyclists themselves are trying to make this practice legal. That's how widespread it is. |
| Is this thread purely applicable to mundane hippy-dippy issues? I'm noticing that posts about substantive issues are being deleted. |
| Yep, also meant to distract from the real issues. Hold your nose and vote Anthony Williams-endorsed Salah in Ward 1. Send the message! |
