What did preeclampsia feel like for you

Anonymous
No symptoms, not even swelling the whole pregnancy. BP was fine all pregnancy until a checkup at 37 weeks when it was high. Midwives asked me to check it again at home a few days later and they asked me to come to the hospital to be induced at 37+6. Luckily it wasn't severe so I didn't need mag at the birth.

A few days later I went in for another concern (incontinence) and it was in severe range so I was readmitted for 24 hr to get the mag drip. Luckily husband and baby stayed with me again!

Went in for 36 week appointment and BP was sky high and I’d gained 15lbs in 10 days. Admitted and induced next day. Stayed on BP meds for 30 days after delivery and have been fine since.

My story is identical! And other than the massive swelling, I felt totally fine!

It’s crazy they sent you home! As soon as I had a high reading and was term, my ob sent me right off to labor and delivery and told me this baby is coming today or tomorrow.
