| Two cars. First was a 1985 Mercedes 300sd. It was my dads 40th birthday gift to my mom. After graduating college in 1995 parents put the title in my name and told me to drive it as long as I wanted. Drove it for 4 years until I decided to sell it for $2500 with 300k. Bought a 1995 Porsche 993 c4s with the money(and some more) for a song bc the new 996s were just coming out. Two years later traded the 993 for a 996. Now, Every time I now see at nautical blue 300sd I'm filled with regret bc it feels like I have traded away a part of my childhood. Every time is see a 993 c4s I kick myself bc the car is worth over 150k now. And yet I still have My 996--which I can't give away these days. |
My grandparents had that that Mercedes. It was such a fun car. I cannot believe it's worth that much! |
| ‘92 Saab convertible. |
| 1997 Porsche 993 C2S. Selling now for big crazy $$$. |
| 96 PONTIC Sunfire. first car paid $1000 for it in 2007 |
My blue Bugatti.
|
Oh wow. I would give you mine but it needed to be hauled away at after 10 years and 100k miles. If I ever see one on the road Im like, how is this car still here? |
Same here. I had a used one in my teens. Great memories, and drove really well too, albeit underpowered. Mine was one of the first cars with antilock brakes (1986 model). Of course we tested that out in the parking lot of a local high school after a thunderstorm came by. |
| 2004 Golf R32 |
+1, except mine was an 88 Prelude with 4WS. Such a fun little car. |
Same! |
| My 2-door 2001 Jeep Cherokee. Thing was an off-road beast and bulletproof too. Got me 220k miles out of it. |
| 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser. Just a really fun thing to drive. |
As soon as I saw the title of this thread I thought about my 88 prelude with a manual transmission and 4WS. It was my first car and I have never had another that was so much fun to drive. So many great memories associated with that car. |
| ‘66 Mustang! |
