GDS was all about siblings this year. |
| I think our school got 3-4 into STA, 1-2 into GDS, 1-2 Landon, 1 Holton, a few SJC, a few Burke, Field, SAES and SSFS, public magnets |
GDS was tight for everyone this year. |
For 9th? |
Yes |
Yes, very high. And not sibs. |
Yes! Reasonable bright! 😂 This is the only way anything happens in our K through eight! |
| That’s a good list in a tough year — Wow! |
|
Not true! And yes sibs! |
What's not true? |

| Shocked about Sheridan. Our k-8 got 3 in GDS. Two siblings and one URM. One sibling did not get in (waitlist) but did get a great school that matches his sport. The 1 sibling that did get in hired someone to help them with admissions - grades not stellar. Accidentally ERM is choosing another school. The URM is choosing another school. |
| This year’s Sheridan 8th grade is only 20 or 21 kids. The fact that 4 got into Maret is surprising. Not sure what was up with GDS this year, but if you look at outplacement numbers to specific schools, they do vary a bit from year to year. The current 7th grade is the same size, so outplacement will vary with the preferences of the kids in the class. |
