Frittatas are in the same vein but without the crust and way less cream.

The 90s called and they want their fat-phobia back.

Not fat phobia, but a pie with a butter crust, 8 eggs, 4 cups heavy cream, and 1 cup cheese is a bit much.

True. And just not worth it to me (and my family). If I’m craving a quiche I’ll just buy a slice for $5 at the bakery instead.

Quiche is baked scrambled eggs in a pie shell. Easiest thing ever, and a great way to use up random bits of stuff from the fridge and pantry. (Crepes are another weeknight fave in our family — kids like being able to customize, and I like being able to use up all the leftovers.)

Do you chime in on baking threads with a calorie count too? Please stop assuming that NO ONE KNOWS about fat/calories. We all know.

Life is about balance. Sometimes you eat the quiche loaded with delicious things and something you eat just the eggs, scrambled. It's really ok to eat things that are loaded with calories sometimes. There is no need to chime in on every food thread with your disordered eating habits.
