Help me understand DCI admissions

Doesn’t matter what they will stand for or not. Stokes can pull out of DCI and the Brookland crowd can go to their middle school or not. Many with no or limited options will. Others will play the lottery, go private, or move.

Despite what I’ve been told by Mundo Verde, there is no feeder plus sibling preference. I asked directly if it would be possible for my younger kids to not have spots at dci, and dci admissions told me it was a definite possibility.

Stokes leadership has already said numerous times, including the most recent.board meeting, that they are keeping the DCI feeder. DCI will remain the feeder of choice for most Brookland families and the new middle school will probably grow into the feeder of choice for EE families.
