You have a question to answer - are you better off with or without him and his paycheck? You don’t have a marriage. If the money is good, just live your lives the way you need to, make sure your son has some good male role models, and make the best of it. If you can make up the money or you don’t get much, just divorce. There’s not much in it for you and your son.
