I never saw any of season 1 and started watching midway through season 2. It's definitely a guilty pleasure. I get a little confused with back story details, but I love Damon's one liners.

I just googled "I'm obsessed with vampire diaries" and saw this post. I've JUST started watching it Thursday night for the first time, and I'm hooked. I've got one more episode left of season 2. I want a Stefan Salvatore to myself! Vampires are so sexy, passionate and romantic!
