I use Overdrive with two different library systems, and both have the audiobook. Both have a wait list.

Hmm.. please do share about you two library systems because I have a different information https://www.brilliant-books.net/problem-exclusives

Neither are in the DC area, but the book is definitely on both of them. One is Harris County Texas

I'm the Piranesi pp. I was talking about the Piranesi audiobook not being available in public libraries, thus she should spend her audible credit on it instead of the Ove audiobook since we can get it for free in any library.

This is a problem with the new function of hiding prior quotes in the the thread and people not clicking; you kind of missed the whole point of the thread to which you responded and quoted.

I think I should have been clear that I was talking about the book and not about some platform called Piranesi.

OP, what audiobook did you end up listening to?

I ended up downloading A man called Ove and have listened to the first 20 minutes and I’m embarrassed to say it does seem it will be a bit too heartwarming for me. I set it aside and listened to a podcast about an Australian conman “who the hell is Hamish” which is pretty good. I will go back to Ove, though.
