Quitting pacifier - need advice!

We went cold turkey with his beloved monkey wubanub. We told him that manny, the pacifier, had to go to Ireland to find work and would be back at Christmas. We totally empathized with him when he cried for it but it was gone. Lasted maybe three days and he was fine. Bedtime was the worst.
Manny came back without the pacifier at Christmas and DS, 8.5, still has him. |
